Ye Charlotte Ming (*1989 in Qingdao, China) is a freelance journalist and photo editor based in Berlin, Germany. She reports in English and in her native Mandarin for both English and Chinese publications. Her writing has been published in TIME, National Geographic, Getty Images FOTO, ChinaFile, World Press Photo Witness, Sixth Tone, The Paper and Tencent News. Ming co-founded Yuanjin Photo, an organization that amplifies the work of Chinese visual storytellers internationally and writes a column on the topic for ChinaFile. She has curated two exhibitions at the Photoville Photo Festival in New York. Ming studied communications at Colorado State University-Pueblo and journalism at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
