Shuang Guo  (*1984 in Guizhou) is a short story writer and essayist. Guo Shuang's writing combines storytelling, non-fiction, mythology and fairy tales. She places her vision in the common human experience and writes about time, memory and forgetfulness in the context of contemporary Chinese society. She won many awards, such as the Chinese Film novel Award, the Zhongshan Star Young Writer of the year, the Eslite Bookstore's Best Writer of the year, and so on. She based in Shanghai and Guangzhou.
